On Monday, 14 September, the Governance Forum hosted a briefing for members on the recently published Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies (2009), which is an updated version of the Code last published in 2001.

• Aidan Horan examined the Code’s coverage of accountability, risk, audit, and agency relationships with the parent department and Oireachtas.
