The Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies
The Department of Finance has published the new Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies on its website . The new Code updates the previous edition issued in 2001. The Department is also to lead the development of models of performance and governance issues, covering issues raised by the OECD Review (2008), including the role and functions of boards. This process may, the Department says, lead to further revisions of the code.
