In June the Department of Finance published a revised and updated Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies. State bodies are required to confirm to the relevant Minister that they comply with the requirements of the Code.
Each Board member should be aware of the main features of the new code and their responsibilities as directors.
This briefing event will provide the opportunity to get an overview of the key issues and issues which arise in the application of the Code. The presentations will include a legal perspective on issues which arise at boards. There will be, in addition, a panel discussion

Time and Location
The Briefing will take place at the IPA, 57-61 Lansdowne Road. Breakfast will be served from 8.00am. The presentations and open forum discussions will run from 8.30 – 10.30am.
Subscription details
The cost for non-members is €150 per person.
Members of the Forum are entitled to nominate three participants to the briefing without charge. The price for fourth and additional nominees is €120 per person.
