As a member of the Forum your organisation will be joining a network of people who are actively promoting and implementing good governance.

Membership is on an annual basis. Each organisation will be able to nominate board members and senior managers to receive documentation and access to the forum member’s website. In addition they will receive invitations to specific events. The range of benefits that participating Forum members will enjoy includes:

• Automatic inclusion and invitation to high quality and relevant events for board level personnel and senior management nominees
• Provision of training, advice, consultancy and support
• An information service which supports organisations and individual managers to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations

The Forum is also undertaking some pilot research on topical areas such as the relationship between state bodies and government departments and issues arising from the Government’s ‘Transforming Public Services’ programme. There are further developments planned, also, for the members’ website.

Joining the Forum

Membership of the Forum includes state agencies, publicly-funded bodies, not-for- profit organisations and government departments. The standard Forum subscription is for the calendar year. The cost per organisation for 2011 is €4,500. There is a discount for corporate members of the IPA.
